Filipino Food in Dublin

First, some background info:  My family and I moved to Dublin, Ireland from Los Angeles last November.  (Work reasons.)  Back in LA, we're quite spoiled in terms of availability of Filipino food, restaurants, heck, even concerts from artists and bands from back in the Philippines are a dime a dozen back home.

But now, we're in quite a different situation where the stuff that reminds us of home are really hard to find.  Here in Dublin, there are two Pinoy stores (Alto in city centre, and Sari-Sari in Dun Laoghaire where I live) that I know of.  Plus, I hear there's one Filipino restaurant named Bahay Kubo somewhere close to the city, in Ballsbridge I believe.

Something tells me that I'll be a regular there.  I'll post my own review once I get to visit the place, but for now, here's something from Fodors:

Don't always believe what you read. The very basic English translations on the menu fail miserably to capture the excitement and diversity of the dishes at Ireland's only Philippine restaurant. Persevere and you'll find a fine selection of authentic Philippine cooking with touches of Chinese and Malaysian cuisines. Chicken, beef, and prawns all feature heavily, with red-curry chicken in coconut milk the most popular choice with regulars. Desserts have been brought in frozen, so it's best to stick to starters and entrées and finish up with a coffee. The starched white linen and pale-wood flooring give the place an open and light feel.
